Bronx Firehouse Celebrates Century of Service

NY 1 - May 04, 2010

Bronxdale's Engine Company 90 and Ladder Company 41 held a 100-year anniversary ceremony on Monday.

New York City Fire Department officials unveiled a centennial plaque, dedicated to past and present members, their families, and those who have died in the line of duty.

"The acts of bravery of this company have carried out over the years speak volumes about the kind of company you are, busy, hardworking, committed, dedicated, the best the fire department has to offer," said Fire Commissioner Salvatore Cassano.

After the ceremony, the firefighters gathered outside for a group photo.
