Brooklyn House Fire

MYFOXNY.COM - Fire officials say three people were seriously injured in a house fire in Brooklyn. A total of nine people were hurt, including two fire fighters.

They say the fire erupted in the three-story brownstone at 4:27 a.m. Monday.

Eight people were in the 175 Putnam Avenue house at the time. Three were taken to Woodhull Hospital suffering from burns and smoke inhalation.

At least two firefighters are in serious condition with burn wounds.

The flames were brought under control at 5:33 a.m.
